A few useful details

Before you
get started.

TapGI is built for medical education and exam preparation.

Who is TapGI for?

TapGI is designed for gastroenterology fellows and medical professionals preparing for GI board exams or reviewing core topics. It is an educational resource, not medical advice or a tool for patient care.

Can I study without an internet connection?

Core study content is bundled on your device. Initial purchase verification and optional iCloud features require an internet connection.

Do I need a TapGI account?

No. TapGI does not require an account or sign-up. Optional backups use your private iCloud storage, and Apple manages subscription purchases.

How does TapGI handle my data?

Study progress is stored locally, with optional private iCloud backups. TapGI has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. A low-detail, pseudonymous usage summary is shared by default; you can turn it off and queue deletion in Settings → Backup & Privacy. Read the full privacy policy.
